The world population is growing in a very rapid rate. As of October 2010, the world population has crossed the seven billion mark. Security Jobs on the Rise in 2012

It looks like security jobs are well on the rise this 2012.

This particular upswing shouldn’t come as a surprise for those of you who’ve been keeping tabs on the job market this past year, however. 2011 saw an increased demand in the security sector of about 15% for positions that include security guards, security officers and security agents.

Analysts are claiming that the rise of increased security demands have been largely concentrated in the high-end merchandise sector; specifically in the area of luxury items. High end jewelry retail stores, for example, have seen a vested interested in not only hiring able bodied security guards for their stores, but trained security officers to further beef up security in and around their merchandise.

Luxury car dealers have presented an increased demand in staffing additional security agents this coming year. With luxury car jackings at an all time high in European countries, luxury car dealers are making sure that potential thieves are not able to hit the jackpot by striking at the heart of operations.

An even better stroke of good news, analysts are predicting wage increases as high as 20% due to the increased demand for security personnel.
