Asthma is now considered the fastest growing disease by many health experts. It is estimated that 35 percent of childhood asthma is due to prolonged exposure to air pollution. And the same is also the major cause of asthma development among previously healthy people. Studies have shown that air pollution is indeed one of the factors that contribute to the growing number of people suffering from this disease.

A recent study shows that around 25 million Americans have symptoms of asthma. This number increases every year as air pollution also worsens.
